This steel hulled Dudley Dix 38 has a radiused chine rounded bilge (which gives her nicer lines) and was commissioned in 2000. She has been well looked after and has a number of upgrades. Construction
Construction is of steel using a stringer system and one-off hulls are built over temporary frames. Bulkheads are structural and are bolted to tabs on the stringers. The keel is a NACA foil and the rudder is semi-balanced on a partial skeg.
